Hello, there! Isn’t is amazing, we made it to September! I am so thrilled! My favorite time of year is coming, and hey— already here if you go by the availability of Pumpkin Spice Everything 😀
It’s been a long hot summer out here on the prairie, and I’ll be glad to kiss 90 degree weather goodbye. Its still been hot and miserable, but at least now I have faith that an end is in sight! I’ve got boots and knits ready!
To celebrate this longed for season, I thought I’d host a little giveaway! I’ll be sending this little pack of autumn themed postcards out to one lucky winner who enters! And all you need to do to enter is leave a comment here on this post— tell me YOUR favorite things about autumn. What speaks to you about this season? What are you most thrilled to see at the end of the summer?
You are welcome to leave a comment multiple times if you share on social media, so you can enhance your chance for winning!~!
This giveaway will be open through 9/13, with the winner announced Wednesday!
Happy Fall, Y’all!~

Excited for the cooler weather and spending the weekends outside with my family! Megan, shmeegzey@yahoo.com

What?!? Why are there no comments yet!My favorite things about autumn are the fields of pumpkins, the chill in the air, the beginning of baking season, and getting to wear my boots everywhere instead of worrying about how my toenails look :PI really love your new autumn works!! They capture my very favorite playfully-scary feelings of Halloween!

Autumn inaugurated a very magical season for our little family. My husband and I were young and got engaged just as the leaves began to turn. Our anniversaries and the birthdays of our three children fall between October and January. The holy days and seasons that we anticipate during and after autumn are very special to all the milestones and tragedies we have faced so far. Autumn reminds us of all the deaths we've died together, and makes us look towards new life as we remember all the new things we've grown in together. We begin again at this time each year. Thank you for hosting a giveaway! I'm encouraged by all your pieces and I'm super excited to enter. 🙂

What I love about Autumn is the crisp cooler air, the gold, russet, red leaves that seem to never stop falling, the fragrance from my neighbors log fireplaces, and all the varieties of fresh apples in the supermarket to bake into all kinds of warm desserts to have with a cup of strong tea or coffee!

As a New England girl in exile in Texas, I love being able to get MacIntosh apples (the only real apples) at the grocery store, and the temperatures dropping to more humane levels! 😉

oh Heather…..what DON'T I love about Autumn! I feel like it's a re-set button on my soul, not to get too deep or anything. Autumn is everything I love – cozy, treat-filled, mysterious, beautiful and there's a reason to decorate in a fun way every month!

Fall to me is about glorious changes in weather, colors, textures, food, and energy. After the long hot and miserable humid summers, Fall is that time when life outside of the AC becomes possible again. Plus, there is Pumpkin Spice coffee and Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knit sweaters, swirling leaves, cool winds, autumn tea and singing with friends, and the changing light when everything is shines golden beneath the brightest blue sky! Autumn is my absolute favorite season, and down here in southern Texas it heartbreakingly short, so we cling to it with all our might. Thank you so much for the giveaway! Your postcards are always my favorit 🙂
