I’ll tell you a secret. I don’t really like yellow. But there is something about yellow roses that I’m willing to make an exception about. They’re just so buttery and lovely. I made this yellow tattered fabric rose corsage the other day. It was sort of my template on the whole idea. I really love it. I also added a touch of green burlap leaves to the piece. Because leaves are just as an important part of the rose, don’t you think? Can’t forget the greenery!

You know my first thought? Obviously this is coming from a fellow heat-wave sufferer like yourself. \”She is quite fierce to be able to don a long jacket outside in this heat for a photo shoot.\” Ha! And yes, I love the yellow roses, too. Tres cute!

Gorgeous. gorgeous yellow roses, although I did think for a moment there that those leaves had been knitted, which would have been too perfect 😉 I'm just amazed that you haven't melted right away!

Yellow is the perfect colour for roses! I love the way you make flowers. They just capture the feeling of a real rose perfectly!I found an easy pattern for knitted leaves in a book called '200 Knitted Blocks'! They look really nice too.
