I had the idea for this painting a while back. I thought it was quite funny. I thought it might make a good painting. What if you could just knit up your very own sweetheart? Wouldn’t that be lovely?

I love this! Made me chuckle:) I think you should make it a series. I also loved your family photos – what a priceless collection. To have those things for your daughter when she is old enough to learn about her great-great-great grandmother! Have a great weekend.

Bloom where you're planted … ever since I read that little gem a few days ago it's been in my head. It perfectly encapsulates what I've always hoped to do but not always managed. The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence and I think families that don't go far know that.I have a hubby with a beard too 😀

I love this! It is so interesting! I wonder how old the bearded man is?! A beard is very unclarifying. Ha. I think you are so very talented and love seeing your work! -Amy

This one made me giggle! There's actually a guy who lives here in Wichita who is probably about my age (20s) and has a beard almost that long! He's \”hipster\” rather than \”pioneer,\” though. Paul and I see him pretty often at our local donut shop–he either works at or owns the florist shop down the street. I have yet to see him with a woman knitting his beard… Just give it time! 🙂
