Tasha Tuesday: A Birthday Celebration Giveaway & Cross Stitch Patterns

Good morning, Friends!

As the month of August comes to a close this week, we have something very special to celebrate: Tasha Tudor’s Birthday! You know by now how much I love her (Check out over a decade of “Tasha Tuesday” posts to learn more about that!) and I couldn’t resist taking some time to celebrate her in anticipation of her birthday of August 28.

First and foremost- I’m going to have a giveaway of some of my special tea “Colonial Lady” in honor of our favorite tea loving artist! All you need to do is comment on this blog post to enter to win. I’ll also share posts on Instagram and Substack, any entries you make there will increase your chances of winning.

The tea is a delicious loose-leaf tea inspired by our foremother’s colonial gardens. It includes yummy bits of citrus peel, rosehips, parsley, lavender, cornflower and raspberry combined with black tea. You will receive 3 oz. bag of this tea, complete with muslin straining bag. It is so elegant and lovely- perfect for a late summer sip!

You can also find this and more flavors to purchase in my Etsy shop.

Speaking of Etsy- I have also listed the cross stitch patterns for these two Tasha-inspired decor tuck pillows for just .99 cents as we celebrate Tasha’s birthday! If you stitch either of them up, I’d love to see! Feel free to tag me on social media @sleightholmfolk.

The giveaway will run through the week with the winner announced on Friday, August 29.

I hope you have a wonderful week, and if you love Tasha Tudor as much as I do, I hope you also get a moment to remember her in some small way. She was such a unique and talented woman, and she continues to inspire me in my own work.

And if you’d like to win a bag of Colonial Lady tea, please leave a comment on the post!

Til next time-

Take Joy!
