Kitty on a prettily spooky porch taken on our trip to Eureka Springs last week
It’s turned out to be a quiet week here on the little blog, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working! I’ve been preparing some larger paintings and also it is fall break, and I’ve got a little one at home with me for most of the week.
The weather has turned cooler for the moment and we’re getting into the spirit of the season— putting fake headstones in the flower garden, and baking yummy things.
I made this rustic apple pie this evening and featured it over on the What Would Ma Ingalls Do blog. I’ve had sort of a change in focus over at that little blog….It will still keep its Ma Ingalls flair, but also be a little more about modern life on the prairie and a bit of suburban homesteading. I thought it was still very much in the vein of what Ma was about, so I hope you’ll come on over and take a look 🙂 I even gave it a fresh make over!

I have a new painting to share with you soon too! It’s a winter painting and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out! So come back soon!~

Oh, that pie looks really delicious. Perfect dessert for fall! Love that photo of the black cat. We've had a black cat coming to visit us every so often. I've called her Jinxy. LOL I think she lives in the neighborhood – even though she always wants to come into our house. 🙂 I feed her tuna!
