This morning I packed up a large group of original paintings and some prints and headed down to Brookside in Tulsa to hang at my favorite little coffee shop, Shades of Brown! If you’ve never been there, it’s such a nice place to go and hang out, and you’re fully expected to just sit and talk for hours. The furniture is old and worn and mostly velvet, so you know I love that!
So after a morning of wielding a hammer in a coffee shop, the art is all up and if I say so myself, its looking rather nice! The art will be up through the entire month of February and can be bought right off the walls. If you’re in the area, I hope you stop by! And if you do, i suggest the heath mocha or the grasshopper 🙂

Your work meshes so well with the mood at Shades of Brown. I agree, it's a neat little spot. And I love the idea you're working on for the mugs. Just throwin' it out there, but I always find really funky, retro mugs irresistible. I think the one of a kind nature of the new designs will make them really desirable!

That is a wonderful way to display and sell your work. Great idea and gives you an expanded fan base. I know what you mean about having more than one blog. I think I have too many but at this point I'm note sure what to do.

The place calls out for your beautiful pictures. They seem to fit very nicely in their nooks :-)I agree about having way too many blogs. There were times I got carried away and realized that one is just good enough :-)Be blessed today,Maria

I collect plates that you hang on your wall.I would love the opportunity to purchase a set of 4 from you if you go in that direction.I tried having two blogs and it didn't work out for me.I hardly ever blogged there and I thought heck if my new friends like my art then they will like my occasional \”other stuff\” as well.Personally I love reading whatever you post.
