A Prayer

Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, Lord Christ; give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love’s sake. Amen.

  1. Beautiful, Heather, and thank you. My heart is still aching so badly. It's all that is on the news over here. Didn't sleep that well last night, either. Your painting is a much needed call for peace at this time where there should be joy and light. And you included a lovely quote, as well.

  5. I feel for you Theresa, I know this is very–literally— close to home for you. I hope that out of all this some good will come. Our faith in humanity and the true good nature of people will outshine one person's darkness.
