Hello there, my friends!~
I am back! Loaded up with pictures, momentos and fond memories of New England and my friends Emily and Alyson and their sweetness in shuffling this pregnant lady from one corner of the northeast to the other!
I’ve got tons of things to share with you— just a tiny taste of my trip in available to look at through my instagram (see the sidebar or follow audreyeclectic81 through your own account) which is good, because I’ve got several secret commissions lined up that I can’t show off til they’re safe at home!
Some of the highlights of the trip included— touring Louis May Alcott’s home, Orchard House; peering at and and rambling through many gorgeous antique homes; standing on the shores of Salem Harbor at dusk; having clam chowder— the real stuff! And lobster pizza; driving through the brilliant autumn hills of Vermont and New Hampshire; seeing the Tasha Tudor Musuem….and so much more!
At the moment though— the reality of doing laundry, catching up on housework and little one’s school work, preparing to enter my third trimester, and settling in for autumn in Oklahoma.
Ironically– this trip also made me appreciate home. Instead of making me dread coming back, it gave me fresh inspiration for both art and home. New ideas for decorating, new meals to share with family and friends, and new scenes to put to paint.
I cant wait to share it all with you as well!~!
Stay tuned…
H
