Audrey Eclectic Reader Survey!

As it is with many of us, the end of the year is a natural time of reflection for me; what a year 2014! I am so grateful for the all the opportunities and friends that came my way, as well as new family members—especially my little Robbie!

With 2015 almost upon us, I can’t help but think of what this new year will bring for my art work, and Audrey Eclectic– it’s 8th year!

I thought that a good way to make sure I head in a good direction would be to chat with you all, my readers and friends, about what you’d like to see here in the coming year. What are your favorite types of art? What are you looking for in art, cards, etc? What appeals to you about folk art? I thought it would be very interesting to find out and share with you as well.

And so, if you have a spare moment, I’d SO appreciate it if you could look over the questions and give me YOUR answers! Feel free to just copy and paste them into the comment box and fill out from there.

  Thanks so much for making 2014 a great year!~ Here’s to 2015!

Survey:

1) Where are you from?

2) How did you find out about Audrey Eclectic Folk Art?

3) Which art themes appeal most to you? (family, faith, historical, literary, Scandinavian)

4) What kind of items would you like to see offered in the etsy shop?

5) Do you have a favorite painting?

*************************************************

Ok! That’s it! Thanks so much for your help! This will help me glean a better idea of what to focus on and to offer in the coming year. I havent painted in a few weeks now because of the christmas rush, and I’m itching to get creating again!~
Happy New Year!

(family, faith, historical, literary, Scandinavian) faith, literary, family – but the Scandinavian that runs through all of it is part of the charm4) What kind of items would you like to see offered in the etsy shop? I love the prints, only own one yet. More literary prints would be AWESOME. I could definitely see a collection of those in my girls' room.5) Do you have a favorite painting? I have the angel holding the lamb, but Anne and Diana is fab. But so is Little Women. But so are all the ones of families gathered around each other. Oh, and the garden one. 3. 1) I am from Gainesville , Fl.2. I discovered your blog from another blog I was following and fell in love with your Folk Art.3. My favorite themes are historical , seasonal , literary, Scandinavian, and regional.4. I love your prints, postcards and seasonal things like ornaments and mini box paintings. I also love when you share interesting books you are reading and then they inspire a painting . It is fun to read the blog and then see how it inspires an artistic creation. I also love all things prairie spirit.5. It is hard to choose a favorite painting as I think I love everyone you do!! Lol!! Since I cannot have every painting you make, I love it when you make postcard combos for different times of year . I love using the postcards to write notes because it is like sending a little gift as well as a message. Everyone enjoys receiving your postcards. I think it would be nice to have some more card packs that could meet different needs like birthdays, gift cards and non seasonal themes.

If I had to pick my top two I'd say… faith and literary characters.4. More prints. More original art. I also agree that a calendar would be lovely. 5. I love your Madonna and Child pictures. I just bought the Madonna of the Blossoms and the Woodland Madonna and I can't decide which I love more. Do you have a gallery page where we can see all of your painting? I'd love to see the Pascha eggs mentioned above.
