Hello, friends~
I hope you are doing well and I hope you had a Thanksgiving Day that was full of contentment and delicious things to eat from dawn to dusk! We had a quiet lunch here at home, and then that evening walked to our little downtown to see the street and shop windows lit up for Christmas. It was very quiet and not many people were out, and it was a nice way to end the day. We had a good lunch, and now we are picking over the leftovers, as I’m sure many of you are too!

A few months ago my friend Susan sent me this very old book about Thanksgiving in New England by Kate Douglas Wiggin. Wiggin was also the author of the book “Rebecca of Sunny Brook Farm,” which was later made into a movie with Shirley Temple. “A Thanksgiving Retrospective” is absolutely charming, and is all about Thanksgiving in ‘the good old days’, which are so good and so old they’re way back when people were cooking on the hearth. Its a charming and heartwarming book, and so perfect to have during this cozy season.
This year I am thankful for your continued support of my little etsy shop and my creations! I love sending my art out into the world to be enjoyed, and while I was unable to travel this year, my art sure did! Its so amazing to think of all the amazing places my art now lives, and I love seeing everyone’s work from the autumn booklet as well!
To show my thanks to you, I’ve currently got a print sale going on in my etsy shop! You’ll find all my prints are 20% off now, no coupon code needed! The price is automatically adjusted. Just visit the etsy shop and see if there’s anything you or someone you love might need!

I hope you have a good weekend and get some time to relax and do what you love! I’ve already been working on some christmas gifts, and so I’ve got plenty of projects to keep me busy!
Thanks again for your kind comments and for bringing my art into your home. I appreciate it so much!
Take Joy–
H
