How are you this week? I’m keeping busy, but getting a lot knocked off my to-do list. I’ve got some fresh prints in my etsy shop this week, and I’m working on a new spring painting that I hope to have finished soon. I am happy to report that I now have “Emma and Harriet”, “Froniga’s Garden” and “New England Winter Walk all available as 8×10” prints to purchase in my etsy shop!
I also just got a new batch of bookmarks from my printer as well, and I put a free bookmark in with each order made. Just a fun little treat, because if you’re a reader like me, you’re always in search of a bookmark!
And while the shop is nicely stocked, I’m also working on this Spring/Easter piece in the studio right now. It’s got all the things I love about an old fashioned, English cottage spring in it. Lots of flowers, old blue and white dishes, pretty trees and Easter treats. I’ll have this one listed as soon as I feel like it’s finished, and can’t wait to share more of it with you!
I hope you are doing well these days. This week I get my second Covid vaccine shot and I am excited and nervous. I’ve heard many people don’t feel 100% after the second dose, so I’m trying to set things up so that I can take it easy after I’ve received mine. I can’t believe we are here, with a vaccine, and ‘normal life’ not too far down the road. It’s so hard to wrap my mind around all that’s happened in this past year. This time last year, we were wondering if the kids would go back to school in April (ha! They were home for months after) and trying to figure out how to make it work for everyone to do their work at home. We did find our stride, but it was hard. And I feel like I’m just now trying to find a new routine again….although it’s difficult, because everything can so often change at the drop of a hat these days. But I’m looking forward to sunny days and get-togethers again.
Hope you are feeling well, and I hope that you have a wonderful Easter this weekend! Cant you believe it’s already upon us? If I were smart, I’d be starting on Christmas art right now, ha, it’s never too early!
Hang in there, and I’ll be back again soon!
