Hello there, friends!

Can you believe it is autumn now? It is hard to believe this wonderful season has come– mostly because it has been so hot and dry here in Oklahoma. However, a big project of mine is now complete– so I know a new year is not far away— the 2023 calendar is complete!

This calendar is the 5th one I have published. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years! As with in the past, this calendar features both western and eastern Christian feast days and holy days, major Jewish holidays as well as most U.S. holidays. Of course I had to add some fun things as well— such as the birthdays of Tasha Tudor, Laura Ingalls Wilder, LM Montgomery, and this year I’ve added Sigrid Undset’s birthday.

I know this has been a strange year and I haven’t been able to create as much as in the past. There have been so many unexpected changes– chapters ended when both my grandparents passed away– and new chapters as we have taken on homeschooling in one capacity or another. I am also very involved with my parish Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program and went through training to be a level 2 catechist.

It is my hope that things will settle down (fingers crossed!) and I’ll find myself at my painting table much more in the coming weeks and months.
