I’ve had lots of wonderful comments on the Anne paintings lately, and although the originals have sold I thought I would offer prints of the paintings to those of you who loved them. You can find the prints HERE.
I’ve been a little quieter than usual around here because I’ve been under the weather. I’ve had a terrible allergic reaction to, of all things, the laundry detergent! It’s been terrible and I am not a pretty sight! I cant wait to get back to painting though, its so hard for me to be sick, I feel like there’s just so much to do! I am such a busy body. But I will take this time to relax and heal and think up some new things for fall.

How horrible to be unwell, and it must be doubly awful if you still have such heat. Take care of yourself Heather, most things can wait while we attend to healing if we need to. Hugs x

When I was younger they had just brought out the first of the cold water detergents. This is years and years ago…LOL Oh boy did I get a reaction from them so I know how you feel. Not fun:( It takes awhile for it to work out of your system. Take care:)

did you try something new?I have reactions to all detergents except Tide with Downey,, strange isn't it.If we use anything else I'm covered in little blisters with a red rash that must dry up then scab up then finally heal.I also can't use any scented lotions or hand soaps, or hair spray or perfume,, or room deoderizer,, its just a huge pain in the butt.I'm sorry that you are unwell but I think I know what you mean.If some uses Pinesol or Mr.Clean in our building I'm sick for days, or those plug in deoderizers,, they are a killer ,, are you sensitive to those?For me its a sensitivity issue with the deodorizers, and cleaners,, causes red cheeks and sinus pain,, then asthma, is that a problem for you as well, excuse my nosyness,,its just so rare to find someone with sensitivities like mine.

Thank you everyone! I've never had this happen before, but I seem to be getting more sensitive to things with age and sensitive skin runs in my family. Usually for me its textural— I cant wear anything with wool in it and sometimes even just a necklace around my neck will make it get a little blotchy, but this is a full blown allergic meltdown! Thanks for your kind thoughts. Lets hope this runs its course and then its on to painting! 🙂

So sorry to hear you've not been well! It's awful what chemicals can do. 😦 There is an all-natural laundry detergent made by Seventh Generation that you might wish to try. I think a company called Eco-Cover (or something like that) also makes some all-natural. These Anne prints are so much fun. I'm very thrilled that the original sold – they are lovely!
