If you’ve known me for any length of time you’ll know that I love fall. So much so, that I insist that I was 3 weeks overdue because I wanted to be a fall baby (my mom is still trying to forgive me for this.)
Autumn is just so….spooky and sweet at once. And that’s a combination I love. So of course you know once September arrived, all bets were off and I brought out the halloween. Here are a few shots of my haunting decor….
I love Halloween so much that I tend to collect most of my art in autumn themes, so this is a fun time of year to bring all that out. The big papier mache dolls on the mantle are by
Nicol Sayre, and the little skeleton candle holders are part of the ‘boney bunch’ line from
Yankee Candle.
There are lots of ways you can go with halloween decor— some tacky, some scary, some vintage. I enjoy a more old-timey halloween look. What are your favorite ways to decorate this season? And have you dragged it all out yet, or are you one of those people who can wait a bit (I am obviously not!)
Hope you have a wonderful fall season!~ And don’t forget, there’s still time to enter the giveaway for the
Laura Frantz novel!~
